The German Genealogy Group will hold its next monthly meeting on Thursday,
June 3rd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, The Family
History Center at 160 Washington Avenue, Plainview, New York.

Arthur F. Sniffin will give his presentation, “State and Non Population
Census Schedules”. An orientation session for beginners and newcomers will
be held at 7 PM and the regular meeting will start at 7:30.

Among the many benefits of membership are a newsletter published ten times a
year, a database of surnames, a translation service, a lending library,
interesting guest speakers at the meetings, mentoring and a start up kit of
helpful information.

We welcome all who are interested in researching their Germanic origins.
No fee for guests.

Visit our web site at http://www.GermanGenealogyGroup.com/ While there, be
sure to check the two RC church databases, St. Leonard's and Our Lady of
Sorrows. Both were primarily German parishes and were located in Bushwick,
Brooklyn.
