CARR, At Astoria on Thursday July 30, after a long
illness, Mary M. CARR, aged 85 years. The relatives
and friends are respectfully invited to attend the
funeral from the residence of her nephew. Allen R.
Seaman, Clinton Strteet, Astoria, Long ?? this
(Saturday) afternoon at half-past two oclock. The
steamer Sylvan Grove leaves Peck slip at half past one
o'clock P.M.

Allen R. Seaman is the husband of Mary Kenzel. I
know Mary Kenzel is the daughter of Charlotte Merkel
Carr Kenzel and John Simon Kenzel. If Mary Carr is the
aunt of Allen Seaman, could the term aunt be polite
rather than genetically correct?
What does the steamer Sylvan Grove have to do the the
death, transportation to Allen Seaman's home in
Astoria?
Charlotte Merkel Carr Kenzel will died in 1892 and be
buried in Woodlawn. Was her sister Mary M. Carr buried
there also? Could Mary M. Carr have died at
thedof Allen Seaman, since the funeral is being held
at his home?

Mary and Allen are parents of Mary Seaman and Preston
Seaman and Blanche Seaman.
