DEFFLEY—Edward W., at his home, 470 Prospect ave., on June 20, husband of Mary
HENNESSEY DEFFLEY. He was a member of the 14th Regiment Camp, Spanish War
Veterans. Notice of funeral arrangements later.

DAVIES—Albert E., on Thursday, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John BRADLEY,
451 15th st., husband of the late Sarah Ann NEVILL and father of Thomas.
Services Saturday, 8:30 P.M. Funeral Sunday 2 P.M. Interment Evergreen
Cemetery.

DOWD—On Thursday, June 20, Martin, husband of the late Maria DOWD, and father
of Mrs. John McCAMBLEY and James DOWD, at his residence, 79 Mackay pl.
Funeral on Saturday, June 22. Solemn mass of requiem at Our Lady of Angels
Church, 74th st and 4th ave at 10 A.M. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery.

DOWNING—Doris, beloved daughter of Nora and the late Frank J. DOWNING, died
Wednesday, June 19, 1929. Funeral from her late home, 590 Vanderbilt ave.,
Monday, June 24, at 10 A.M.

GRISMER—On Thursday June 20, 1929, Milly GRISMER (nee HOLLIS), beloved wife of
Alfred GRISMER. Services at her late residence, 1735 West 12th st., Brooklyn,
on Sunday evening, June 23 at 8 o’clock. Interment at Cypress Hills Cemetery
on Monday morning.

HANNON—Myles Kirby, suddenly on June 19. He was born in Brooklyn 15 years ago
and was the son of Catherine and the late Martin HANNON. He was a student of
the Brooklyn Preparatory School. Besides his mother, Catherine, he is survived
by one sister, Catherine; one brother, James. Funeral will take place from his
late residence, 599A Macon st., on Saturday, June 22 at 9 A.M.; thence to St.
Ignatius R. C. Church, Rogers ave and Crown st., where a solemn requiem mass
will be offered at 10 o’clock. Interment St. John’s Cemetery.

HOMMEL—Frederick, after a lingering illness, June 20, in his 80th year.
Funeral from his late residence, 88-44 85th st., Woodhaven, Sunday June 23 at
1:30 P.M. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.

JOERG—On June 19, 1929, Joseph, age 73 years, beloved father of Frank,
Charles, George, Anna, Mrs. R. HEMER, Mrs. C. KELLER. Funeral from his
residence, 188 Cooper st., on Saturday at 11 A.M. Requiem mass at Fourteen
Holy Martyrs R. C. Church..

LORCH—Philip and Julia, of 483 Fairview ave., on June 19, 1929. They are
survived by their son, Leslie. Services Sunday at 1 P.M. at the funeral parlor
of Charles Weeks, 8510 3rd ave. Interment Evergreen Cemetery.
