Hi, A friend of mine has accuired the Family bible of John and Florence
Eleanor Buchanan de Witt . They lived in S. Brooklyn. 5 of their six children were
born there. They were living at 475 Clinton St. in 1884 and on 2nd place
1886-94+. Their children were; Louis Bevier,1877,Newport ,KY; Florence
Kathleen,1884; John,1886-1887; Wallace Lafayette,1889; Henry Buchanan,1891; Julia
Brewerton, 1894. If there are any descendants still around, the bible with a lot of
genealogical info is available for the cost of the postage to mail it back to
the family.
It is a big book purchased in 1886 as a 10th anniversary gift from John to
Florence. Thanks for any help in this.
