I subscribe to Ancestry Daily News. In addition to its many other interesting features, it announces Ancestry's new databases and updates to its existing databases. For instance, the July 1, 2005, edition announced this update to the World War I Draft Registration Cards database along with announcements about some other military databases:
"WORLD WAR I DRAFT REGISTRATION CARDS, 1917-1918
(Update adding 1.3 million cards from Alabama, North Dakota, Connecticut, Mississippi)
http://www.ancestry.com/search/db.aspx?sourceid=831&dbid=6482
(Ancestry.com continues to update its exclusive collection of World War I Draft Registration Cards with images and indexes now available for the following states: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.)"

I've been a subscriber to Ancestry for several years now, and have also been
eagerly awaiting the New Jersey WWI Registration Cards. Unfortunately, they
never give any status updates on the missing states; just an occasional
update announcement (but you usually are left guessing what exactly has been
added/updated). I believe the entire database was originally scheduled for
completion a couple of years ago.
