Would anyone have an old map of Staten Island that shows Terrace Ave.,
in Stapleton? None of my maps (including Mapquest) seem to have it.
My grandfather gave #3 Terrace Ave, Stapleton, as his address where he
was drafted from for WWI.
If anyone has a city directory for 1917, I'd be glad to pay for a copy
of the page where 3 Terrace is listed.
And while I'm at it- my Staten Island folks are;
Henry Butler ELBRECHT, b. 1895, m. Helen LORD, moved to Greene County in
1930.
his parents;
John ELBRECHT b. Jan 1868, m. Antoinette PRIER b.Jun 1874, both buried in
the Moravian cemetery.
his grandparents;
Henry August ELBRECHT, b. 1830 in Germany- m. ??(buried in Woodland
Cemetery??)
George PRIER, b.1851, m. Ella ??, d. Nov. 1911. George is buried in the
Moravian Cem.
thanks
jim
