I am the grandson of Julia (Hickey) Weber and Francis E Weber
In the mid 50`s my sister and I were placed in foster care. I was 4
my sister was 2. When we got out our father and grandmother were gone.
We just came into this info and are looking for any descendants of
the following people.
Married on July 9, 1916. at St. James on 250 cathedral Pl. Bklyn
Julia Hickey age 22 and Francis E Weber age 25
They lived at 335 Pearl street Bklyn.
My grandmother`s parents were Micheal Hickey and Mary(Mahoney)Hickey.
Both were born in Ireland as per the 1900 census.
My grandmother had three brothers.
William Hickey born 1895
Micheal J. Hickey born 1896 ?
Daniel Hickey born Jan 1900
Daniel Hickey at one time worked as a helper for the water
works."1920`s"
Lived at 64 Sand street. Info from 1920 census
Micheal J Hickey Jr. worked as a operator in a silk factory.
same address. Info from 1920 census
(Father) Micheal Hickey worked as a polisher in a chair factory.
same address from the 1920 census.
They also lived on Hudson st, and gold street. My great grandmother is
not on the 1920 census but in the col for my great grandfather he is
listed as still married. There is a note in my father`s VA file
that my grandfather Francis Weber was killed in a truck accident?
Could my great grandmother be helping my grandmother with her 2
young boys? Any info would be a big help. I am also getting a letter
together to write to all the listed Hickeys I can find in the NYC area
Thanks
Jim Weber
