When I lived near Kings Point, we called the institution there the
United States Merchant Marine Academy. THe Village of Kings Point is
across the water from the Bronx. It is in Nassau County at the tip of
the peninsula known as Great Neck (this would be the name in the postal
address). Since I didn't see the original post, I don't know if this is
what you are looking for.
