Subject: PYNE's die in NYC Fire

My great-grandparents - Frank Thomas PYNE and his wife Eleanor DONOHUE PYNE
died in a fire in NYC. They left three small children, including my
grandmother. Granny always said her parents died on Christmas Eve when she
was 2. That would make the date 12/24/1904. She was raise dby Frank's
brother, James PYNE, who was a NYC fireman. I'm not sure who raised her
brother Larry and her sister Marie. James' wife was named Marie as was
their daughter. James and Marie would have nothing to do with Frances' two
children so we know next to nothing. My Dad says James and Marie lived in
Far Rockaway at 17 117th St or 117 17th St.

The fire may have been at 233 E. 73rd. That was their address in 1902.

Any info will be greatly appreciated.

PS. They family was Catholic.
