Hi Bill,
What's the scoop on travel to the Newark Public Library - parking, safety,
open hours, etc? Did you notice whether they had White & Yellow Pages
directories for Newark in the 1970-1980 time frame? How about phone books
for other NJ communities for the late 1950s-early 1960s?
Regards,
Charles Sullivan

at the Newark Public Library. A fantastic experience. The staff was very
helpful and a lot of the materials I hear about on this list were readily
available. My request for city directories lead to a box with over 20 years
worth, several different publishers to a year. And the soundex for the 1880
census was there too. I'm quite sure there are many other treasures there
as well.
