The list of Naturalized Voter for Manhattan 1872 to 1878 is a listing by
address of naturalized voters. It lists by address, the name and the date
they were naturalized and the court it took place in.
I am a big fan of anything the even looks like a census and this certainly
does.
It does not list the place of "origin" thought. But you can take the date
of naturalization and head back to the National Archives and see what they
got.
I found a family member I was not aware of living at the same address of
another family member and it turned out to be his brother.
This film is located at the MA in the now famous brown cabinet by the cash
register. If nothing else you can use it as a replacement for the 1875
state census for Manahttan. I don't believe the MA will search it by mail.
There is no index but after a while you can get the hang of how it is set up.
Good luck
Jack
