In Fact....if you want to get people talking about genealogy and
mentioning names and places etc,....bring up the subject of foods you
remember from your youth and get them going....have pencil and paper
handy for when they mention the time their father took them to such and
such a street to visit Uncle so and so and they got so hungry they had
to stop and get...whatever at ....wherever.

People just jump right in with more information than you thought
possible when you discuss foods they remember from their youth...or
going to someone's house for that person's cooking...good or bad...

Try it if you are stuck....
