Valerie,
Since you already have death info on your ancestors what information are
you hoping to get by finding your ancestors in the index? These indexes
are usually listed by alfa/ first letter of last name and take awhile to
view. You can get them thru your local FHC but since you already know
where they are buried and Green-wood is a very helpful place, you might
have more luck thru them or thru an obit that might have been published.
There is an index for marriages and deaths covering the dates you have by
John P. Maher (not sure of the spelling) for the NY herald tribune. I hope
that I am not being to nosey but you already have so much, I don't know if
it would be worthwhile to have someone look for you :) Have a great day.
ps did you know that Green-wood can send you a computer printout of all the
Howells buried there along with interrment dates and Plot/section number?
