As someone else has already suggested, Jonathan Sheppard Books is an
excellent source for maps and books. I obtained some very nice maps
from them covering 1866 and 1891 Brooklyn and lower Manhattan. The 1866
one also gives ward numbers.
I don't recall if they have a web address but they are at Box 2020,
Plaza Station, Albany, NY 12220. The order number for 1866 map is B 4.
Price $5.95. The 1891 map is B14, for the same price. You must
include $2.75 shipping for folded maps and $4.50 if you want them
shipped in mailing tubes. Also ask for a catalog.
