Hello

My great grandfather owned his home at 918 Sutter Avenue Brooklyn, New York
from Sept 1,1919 until July 10,1927 when he died and then his wife Sarah
owned the house from !927 until Jan 12, 1942 when she died.

Can you tell me if

a Deed, a mortgage, and property tax records would reveal a birthplace
including the town of birth and not just the country? What other important
information would a Deed, Mortgage, or property tax record reveal and do
records in Brooklyn from 1919 until 1942 still exist and where for each type
of document?
