I have dates of death one day off on many of my records. The first is the
date of death. The second is the burial date. I cannot state for certain
this is the problem with your records. Many times the birth date is many
months off due to the fact the birth was recorded at the time of baptism or
christening. Sometimes it took many months to get into town for this event.
Another observation I have made in respect to dates is that ca. 1600's and
before...the Georgian calendar was being used. Often you may find both used
depending on the source. Some things to think about...
