Hello Everyone,

Last October I made a trip to Manhattan (my birthplace in 1941) researching
my roots through old photographs with addresses,statues, and parks.

I visited these neighborhoods and would like to know what they were like in
the late 30's and early 40's?

62 W 83rd St
380 Riverside Drive & 110th St.
395 Riverside Drive
535 W. 110th St
48 W. 87th St
450 Lexington

It appeared that I was in an "okay" neighborhood........was I?

In fact it was one of the photographs that led me to Riverside Park where I
sat on the very same bench (in the original photo) that my mom & dad held me
as a newborn (in the summer of 1941).
I would so appreciate your comments.
