God morning list. I wonder if sks could help me? I traced my ggfather
from 1864when he was killed in civil war . Then to 1861 when he was married
in my hometown Newburgh NY where he married my ggmother, no marriage
certifacte, then to White Plains in the 1860 US Census where he lived as a 17
yr old shoemaker apprentice. He lived with the shoemaker and his family.
Across from his name where it says place of birth or origin there was the
lettre "b". I looked in the 1850 Census in White Plains and NYC and cannot
find him anywhere, even though it says there is a George mc grath on page 156
in white plains. Could anyone Tell me the best way to go from here?
Thank You Geroge
