Subject: [NYC] Passenger Ship Lists

Hi,

I'm new to the list and am interested in locating my ancestors on
passenger ship lists. I know that my g-g-g-grandparents emigrated from
Ireland to NY in 1853, but I have no idea how to go about searching for
them on ship lists. I'm familiar with the The Famine Immigrant ship
lists, but those end at 1851. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
