Subject: [NYC] Early 20th cent. RC parishes

In a 1938 Bronx obituary published in the NY Times, a reference is made to
the deceased as being "formerly of St. Peter's parish."
In the 1900 census, he is found in Lower Manhattan, so I take it that that
might be St. Peter's on Barclay Street. My question, was there any other
Manhattan or Bronx church for Catholics that was known as St. Peter's
parish in those years?
Thanks
