Why don't you try the PAF program free for download at the LDS site
http://www.familysearch.org

I have been using it since I started my genealogy and I am very happy with
it. You can record the source (s) add photos, and it prints out a wonderful
variety of reports. You can also convert your family tree to HTML to publish
on a website. Since it is free, it won't cost you anything to give it a try
(smile)
