Hi to all
I'm looking for any information on a DANIEL MCDONALD b.Ireland 1831 d. NYC 1892. Life all on the lower east side in St. Mary's parish. Ward 7. Looking for his marriage poss. 1850's same area to JANE SMOLLEN b. Ireland in 1831 also died in NYC 1888.
This is my stone wall. NYC archives don't go back that far for weddings. Not sure of the church, poss. St. Mary's as the children were baptized there. I had a connection , someone from the parish who was going to help . My computer crashed and I lost her name and address. Any help or new ideas will be greatly appreciated. Daniel was a "carter" I'm told this was like a trucker in its day ?
