Hi list,
I have a subscription to the Genealogy.com census records, but I cannot
find this person in the 1900 NY Census. It is difficult because they do
not offer a soundex search or wildcard search as far as I can tell and you
can imagine how many different spellings for Schwacke people come up with.
I was wondering if someone had another index to the 1900 NY Census who
could do a look up for me?

Head: Edward Schwacke about age 36
Wife: Emma age unknown
Son: John about age 11
Son: George about age 9
Son: Edward about age 7
Dau: May about age 3
all born in NY

They were most likely living in Manhattan at that time.
