Subject: [NYC] Marble Cemetery burial vault on market for $100K
Date: Fri, 7 Nov 2003 15:23:31 EST
It is barely a studio, really — just 8 by 10 feet, with a low ceiling and a
terrible view. But as they say, in Manhattan it's all about location, location,
location.
So the underground chamber, fashioned out of marble and livable for eternity,
could very well fetch more than $100,000 if a deal for its transfer is
finally closed in the next few months.
It is a burial vault in a historic cemetery -- New York Marble Cemetery -- in
the East Village, and a truly rare prize in New York City for someone who can
afford it.
