Hello Everyone,

With all the action on the list about the 1905 census, I am compelled to
ask if there is anyone who can lookup my grandmother and her sister in the
1905 census for NYC and Brooklyn?

Here is what I do know from Ellis Island information:

For 1905:
Anna Alexina Emilie van Spall, age 26 yrs-grandmother-remained in NY.
Marie Cornelia Henrietta van Spall, age 24 yrs.-grandaunt-remained in NY.

Arrived in at Ellis Island April 30, 1903 with:
Christiaan Ooijkas, age 49 yrs (brother-in-law) and his wife (older
sister), Christina Matilda van Spall/Ooijkas
Alexina Sophia van Spall, age 16 (youngest sister)
From Suriname, South America, via Haiti.

According to the records, the Ooijkas' went on to Philadephia but there is
no mention of what happened to the youngest sister, Alexina. And, I have
found nothing on where any of these people lived after arrival while in NY.

I am trying to locate any and all records on this, my paternal line.
