Subject: [NYCAYUGA] Cayuga Visit in August. CROWLEY - BEARDSLEY - Victory
Date: Tue, 30 Jul 2002 21:25:32 -0500
I will be visiting Cayuga County around the middle of August and plan to do some research. Any suggestions for places to search? My ancestors lived primarily in the town of Victory, but some also lived in Sterling and Montezuma.
I am hoping to locate the burial sites of Theresa BEARDSLEY CROWLEY, wife of Jacob CROWLEY. She died about May, 1845. Also her son, Henry, who died Dec., 1855. I do not believe other family members would be buried with them, since Jacob remarried and later moved to Illinois. However, two of their children stayed in Cayuga County. Irene married Elijah WILLIAMS and lived in Montezuma. Harriet married 1) John LIDDLE and 2)Christopher HARRIS and lived in Sterling. I have searched for Theresa on the Cayuga county site cemetery lists.
Thanks for any help, I live in Illinois.
