Dear Connie:

Since I am on the NYCAYUGA list, my forwards of your emails came to me. I
have just looked at them and see that there is nothing in the emails, at least
not in the one to me. I have also looked in the archives and see that there is
nothing in the emails there, either. Evidently I didn't forward them right,
which was a good thing in this case. So please don't worry about it any
more. I am sorry I did not realize that you meant me to send only one of the
emails to others.

You mention the foundling hospital as being a sensitive issue--I don't think
people have that idea about it. I certainly don't, and I have seen posts by
others about people in all kinds of institutions--prisons, insane asylums,
etc. and nobody thinks anything particular about it. It's just one more part of
genealogical research.
