I found a couple of other message boards looking for PASCAL LAVIGNE the father of this soldier; his wife ANGELINE VALLIER I am posting here also just in case some one else is looking for them;

*Mother ANGELINE LAVIGNE pensioned Jan or June 1863
Angeline is buried in Forest Hill Cemetery, town of Pomfret; Lavigne Angiline (nee VALLIER) 1811 d Jan. 26 1867 w/o. Pascal LAVIGNE
