Tom, did you look in the 1850 census to find Allen (27) and Phoebe Ann Lasher (24) with two of their children Frederick (4) and Harriet (2). They lived in Red Hook at the time. I wuold imagine these are your great-great grandparents.I will look on another site to try to find out more information when I have the time.There are a lot of Lashers listed who are probably relatives of yours. I am the great niece of Sophia Suss who was married to a Lasher. She died pretty young though. My cousin Donna has been corresponding with you already but I thought I would try to look further back to see if I could find anything. Carole Dickinson Vahey
