I am going to go order those books through inter library loans if it is possible here in Colorado.
But all I know is Peter and Fanny's oldest son is also Jeremiah Peter born Oct 1826 whatever that means. I have tracked him and his wife all across the US to Calif where they die. Fanny and Peter came to Herkimer around late 1828 or early 1829. A daughter's obituary says she was born in Cicero (Clay) Onondaga County and her parents moved to Herkimer six months after she was born. I have a land record showing Peter and Fanny as husband and wife. Could the father be also a Jeremiah Peter?
A family Bible showed Landt and the name was passed down as middle names to cousins with that spelling.
