You might want to try writing to the major Delaware County weekly newspaper:
The Walton Reporter
181 Delaware Street
Walton New York 13856
Typically, they would carry announcements of family reunions prior to the
event, sometimes a report in the 'local happenings" section for each
community. I believe the one of interest to you would be "Downsville Data".
