My Delaware county families involve Footes, Footes and more Feet! And, all
those families who married into the Foote family in
Stamford/Hobart/Harpersfield area. Also, Stevens, Bucks, Shermans, Baileys,
etc., etc., etc. Still searching for parentage of Joshua Bailey, husband of
Olive Glover and parents of my Maria Bailey who m. Wm. Foote, Stamford, 1816.
Maria b. ca. 1797, Bridgeport/Weston, CT. And for parentage of Michael
Sherman, b. ca. 1777, m. Mary Coon, son John m. Rebecca Goodrich--family
buried in Davenport. Ancestors of Sherman Fairchild, the inventor. e-mail
