Cap't James SMITH settled on Lots 12 and then 13 of the Harper patent in
Harpersfield by 1793 from Haddam CT. 4 sons, Frederick, James, Hubbard,
and Nehemiah arrived with him and maybe some of 4 daughters, Alice (Else),
Catherine, Polly (Mary), and Lucinda.

Need:
-map showing Lots 12 and 13.
-2nd marriage of Hubbard to Zerviah (Seviah) Stewart? abt 1800.
-children of James, Jr.
-burial place of James, Jr. in 1844 and wife Elizabeth in 1835.
-any info on daughters.

Am eager to correspond, e-mail or snail. Have ancestors to 1628. Have
just discovered this grand website.
