Was at the FHC checking on my family and came across a Silas Fitch, a
Methodist Clergyman, who was married to a women named Mary and had 7 children
in the 1865 NYS Census. Any connection ? If so, then I will check it for
you in Jan, the next time the FHC in my area is open, the week of Jan 5th. He
was located in Delhi and believe that he ran a school, for there was a list of
students.
You can advise me if you want me to check on Silas and Mary on my next visit.
