Where are your kilmer cousins coming from? I'd be happy to look them up if
they're in my neck of the woods. I'll keep looking up the townsends as I
continue to go through the books at the clerks office. From what i can tell
most of the townsends were buried in the fleischmanns area. Like my Cole's
and Jenkins finding the cemetery is a challenge especially when all that is
listed is griffins corners. There were many Stahl's a few Munson's, loads of
kellys, gavettes, yaples, a few vanbenscotens, Redmonds, Robinsons. Lots of
the same family names as usual in a small town in the late 1800's, as I
Iooked through the newer books I see many new names to the area, that's when
my coles start to disappear.
Again if I can do leg work for anyone in the middletown area let me know, if
my schedule works right I should be able to fit a couple of hours in next
week and am happy to try and fill in blanks for folks. I know how frustrating
it is, I'm looking at a few myself, and all I can do is wonder where did they
go, and this makes absolutely no sense at all. For folks who weren't
supposed to move around much I'm finding my ancestors did a lot of moving!!
