Subject: [NYDELAWA-L] Unexpected benefits

Hello, List,

It's been a quiet summer, genealogy-wise.

When I started my family search, my primary goal was connecting with my
cousins. That happened. Of the 27 of us [24 first, 3 second], I am in touch
with 17. We are all in touch with each other and it's great.

With the help of all on this list and on the site, I was able to gather a
great deal of information which I compiled in a 157-page tome that I sent to
the aforementioned cousins. The unexpected benefit? My second cousins were
able to 'put to rest' a family myth, an erroneous one. "Relief" was the word
they used.

I have found this the most gratifying experience and I hope yours are
similarly satisfying. What say we spark things up and share the good stuff?

Best regards,

Roberta Meehan
