I am researching my great grandfather Thomas Cook who I believe was
born in Bklyn Delaware County not Kings County as I thought. He was born in
1843 his father was Isaac Cook his mother was Katharine Apgar,he served in
the Civil War not sure what unit and married Madeline Emrich about 1885 their
first son was named Fredrick and died at 16 in Groveled New York, the family
moved to Kings County about 1902 as I found a death record for one of their
sons. I have searched Kings County records for marriage and births found no
one. On the S S applications for their daughter Ruby she lists her place of
birth as Bklyn NYS not Bklyn Kings County Where is Bklyn in Delaware
County?
