Hi group. I just got back home from visiting my family in Oregon and while
going through some photo albums, I came across a photo of a cemetary that my
Uncle took while visiting his Uncle Grant Russell in the early 1980's. This
is the grave yard that my grandfather's mother and baby sister are buried in
(she died in child birth and the baby died a few days later). Her name was
Mary (McLean) Russell, married to Howard Russell who was born in, I believe
Hobart. My grandfather was born in Grand Gorge and from what my uncle says,
Grand Gorge is just over the hill in the photo.

I have been searching for a long time for more information about Mary. All
I know for sure is that she was related to (most likely a sister of) James
McLean who owned the McLean Estate in the mid 1800's to early 1900's. And,
I know that she died when my grandfather (Harold Clark Russell) was 7 years
old, so that would mean around 1890. Howard Russell then married Mary
Olive Simonson and had two more children, Oliver Grant (or Grant Oliver) and
Marvin. Here is the link to the photo. I would really appreciate any and
