Hi
I have enjoyed the research of the poor house lady for about a year now. I know she is planning on giving lectures in the area . Does anyone one know of a lecture in the Broome Chenango area? I would love to meet her in person. I still have not found the records for my great grandfather in Broome County Poor House. He was a very colorful character. A huckster he traveled between NY in the summer and Florida in the winter and had several families along the way. When his wife, my g grandmother found out about all the other woman she never allowed him in the home again. He died in the poor house, no one claimed his body. I found out about him when the I 88 connector was built in Binghamon and the potters cemetery had to be moved. I have very little information abut him.
Linda
