Greetings to the list,
I'm still searching out my mother's Jenkins Colefamily. Thomas and Jerusha Jenkins Cole are my starting point. in the 1850 census there is a John Jenkins age 54 with a daughter Jerusha 8. I think this is my Jerusha's brother. As my Jerusha had a son John (who is my gggrandfather). Can anyone tell me who this John is? He's on the census with wife Fanny, sons Abram, john and another daughter nancy.
As for the Cole's are there any Coles from the Hancock area on the list? My gggUncle's William and Harrison both settled there after the civil war. Their sister Hannah moved there as well. They are all born in Griffins Corners (fleischmans). Hannah died in Hancock when she was in her early 30's.
Any info would be great!!
