The book that I found in Fonda that had the information on the early
Scotish settlement of Kortright was "Chapters in the History of
Delaware County,N.Y." by John D. Monroe and published by Delaware
County Historical Association in 1949. I went back in my notes to see
what the book was, as I failed to write it on the pages I copied from
the book, which is my normal habit plus recording the book title in
my research record. Is that book available as a reprint from the
association?
