Noah D. Vermilya was the twin brother of my great grandmother Mary.
The Vermilyea Genealogy by Sandra Vermilyea Todd (1998) says Noah 'married
(1) Frances Jean O'Connor (d. before 1860) and (2) Emily Newell (Hull?).'
Horace, Cotland and Francis were children of the first marriage; James,
Frances, and William from the second.
It also has Avery Vermilya married to Fanny Mead (b. 16 Mar 1821), moved to
Olmstead County, Minnesota in April, 1863. 11 children: David M., Abraham,
James I., John K., Joseph M., Josephine, Samuel E., Orville A., Jesse
Charles, Eulalia E., and Reuben.
