I have been rather quiet because I have moved back to NY from the Great
White North. Have not lived here since I was 9 (father was transferred to
FL in 83) but here I am once again.
I am in Chenango County, but not far from Delaware Cty. In fact, had to
make a journey to the large metropolis of Hancock to get my birth
I am looking forward to attending some of the genealogy/historical functions
when they come about. I also just received some extra info from my
grandmother about the Sample/Paisley side of the family. Found out the the
VanLoans were native american and just an "assumed" name so that is why I
found little to nothing about them.
