Hi,
I am interested in cauliflower pictures and in labels. My father and uncle
raised cauliflower in the Goulds-South Woods-Hancock-Rock Valley area in the
30's and 40's. It began when my uncle, Milton Smith, went to Margaretville to
visit his in-laws, the Searles, and saw people raising cauliflower. He went back
to his neck of the woods and tried it. It was very successful, and many people
in that area started to grow it. I am particularly interested in acquiring a
label that has a dark-haired girl holding two large heads of cauliflower:
Pride of the Catskills.
Thank you, Kathryn Smith Mollach
