Yes, I'm on a roll! I won't even promise this is the last of it. Noway.
1820 United States Federal Census > New York > Delaware > Colchester
Caleb Cook ---1--|--1---|1 18-28, wife 16-18
Cook, Caleb Colchester, Delaware, NY 1830 13---1-------|1--11--------

1850 no more Caleb Cook. These are the "strays" I found 1850.
WHOIS? - possibly Caleb's wife/widow, Caleb 2's mother?

PELTON Milton 28 laborer
COOK Caleb 36 laborer
I do not know if Caleb's father was Caleb, but he doesn't seem a match with
Caleb's brothers Jonas, Enoch, and Jeptha who are sons of Robert Cook and
unknown wife.
Pelton & Cook may be cousins.
If wars aren't bad enough about taking young family men, lumbering down on the
Delaware might've been even worse.
All righty out there, has anyone clues to this mystery-Caleb?
