I too have been watching with interest, the Smith information come
through the list. Sarah (Sally) Ruteshouser Smith is one of my brick
walls. Sarah was born to Mary A. Shultz and Egbert/Edward Ruteshouser
about 1845 probably in Roxbury, Delaware County, NY. According to the
Probate papers for her father, Edward, dated Aug 22, 1879, Sarah's
(Sally's) married name was Smith and she was living in Prattsville,
Greene County, NY. I have had no luck tracking any other information on
Sarah and her family, including husband's first name, etc. If anyone on
the list could help, I would greatly appreciate it.
