MRS. JOHN EDWARDS attended the funeral of her brother at Catskill last week.

Pine Hill people vote on the question of incorporation Tuesday of this week.

The Legislature is talking of an enumeration of the inhabitants of the
state.

Cherry Valley has been visited by a fire destroying $30,000 worth of
property.

A first class quality of maple syrup is selling in this village at 75
cents per gallon.

At Athens, FRANK SMITH paid $8 for selling cigarettes to a boy underage.

ROMAINE BRAND of Conesville made over 100 gallons of maple syrup last week.

At Lexington, J.M. VAN VALKENBURGH shot a wild duck that weighed over 4 lbs.

While sawing shingles, PETER VAN VALKENBURGH of Spruceton cut his hand off.

In the last four weeks, there has been over 75 cases of measles in and
about Gilboa.

DR. GEO. BALDWIN and THEDE COLE, Pine Hill, were recent guests of A.
BALDWIN.
