I missed the original post but, if the problem is not being able to read a
.doc file because you don't have Microsoft Word, there are a couple of free
options you might consider in the future:
First, Microsoft has a free viewer for Word 2003 documents that you can find
on the download section of their web site. There is also an upgrade to it
that supports the new Word 2007 format.
Also, the free OpenOffice suite includes a word processor that can read and
edit MOST Word documents. You can download it at www.openoffice.org. Other
programs in the OpenOffice suite can read and edit Excel and PowerPoint
files. OpenOffice can also export files in the PDF format. It's available
for most operating systems.

Before anyone else sends in a pdf of the .doc file mentioned yesterday,
please HOLD for now. I didn't get back to my computer yesterday after
posting the message and just now as I opened my mail (6 am Sunday) I see
that 4 different people sent me pdf files of Linda's .doc file. Haven't
opened them yet. Will see how they work and go from there. THANKS!!! J.
