Actually, I'm not looking for the surname Griswold.
This is from "Any News from Walton?"
8 Feb. 1896
"Died, 'Wednesday', Mrs. Catherine Rosa, mother of Stephen and Jacob Wood,
aged 95 y. 5 m. Burial was in Griswold Cemetery, near Colchester Station.
(Item by Pinesville Corr., pg. 1)"
Catherine was the widow Benjamin Wood. They had at least six children.
Then, she married my ggg grandpa James Rosa. Catherine's headstone is in the
Rosa Cemetery. I know that the Rosa Cemetery is off of Route 10, but I don't
know its exact location. I'm just wondering if the entry of "Griswold" was just
a typo and should be "Rosa"?
