Yes, there were many with the Burrows spelling in Deposit. I'm related to a
lot of them don't recognize the children's names.

Hubbard and Mary Wilkins Burrows lived in Deposit and had children there
after 1800. None were these children, but I just wanted to make sure you
don't disregard the spelling of Burrows as it is on the stone.

I'm not absolutely positive but I'm pretty sure that those dates
correspond with a typhoid
epidemic.

If the entire family died, it's possible that there was no one to tell the
stonecutter the
correct spelling of the name. I'd strongly consider Burroughs as there were
a lot more of them
in Delaware county than Burrows.

I can give you many examples of serious errors on gravestones from that
period that may have
all been made by the same person.
